This is an awesome Italian restaurant in Ancaster. I’ve been here four times and I’ve had great experiences so far. The decor is very sophisticated with black and white furnishings. Their bar and wine rack is the centrepiece of the restaurant, well other than the food. Prices on the menu range from mid to high. It’s not a cheap place to eat out, but the quality is worth it. Wait staff is extremely nice!
This time I ordered spaghetti and meatballs. These meatballs were insanely large and perfectly prepared. The meat was tender and well seasoned. The sauce, however, was a bit under-seasoned for my taste, but better under-seasoned than over-seasoned. It’s easier to layer and add flavour to food than to take away.
I would also recommend the lamb shank. It was heavenly.
