A small restaurant that only serves burgers, soups and salads. You go in, order your food, sit down and wait for your food to be served to you. It’s a casual little restaurant with simple methods and simple food. The restaurant is located across the street from the Vietnamese restaurant, Pho Dau Bo on Canon Street in Downtown Hamilton.

There is limited parking beside the building, but you can find another parking lot across the street. The menu is written on small chalkboards that are framed and hung on the wall. The kitchen is completely open like a lot of burger joints. I love their hanging mason jar lights! They usually have a variety of delicious sounding soups on the menu, but when I went there for dinner, there were only two options left.

I ordered a single burger with bacon and a small curried butternut squash soup. We didn’t wait long at all for our food to come to our table. I devoured my burger first because I was excited to eat the bacon. The patty was thin, the bacon was crispy, the bun was soft. Condiments include ketchup, mustard, mayo, diced onions and sliced pickles. The soup wasn’t anything out of the ordinary. It was nice and simple, which is what I liked about it. The curry gave the creamy soup a bit of a tasty kick.

My friend ordered a single burger [$4] with small fries [$4]. The fries were pretty average, I guess. Their selection of sauces are pretty interesting and sweet though!
Overall, I thought the restaurant was pretty good. It had a chill environment, probably because everyone who worked there were young. Cheap, local, simple food. Nothing pretentious, had a bit of a hipster vibe. It’s a great place for a quick bite to eat.
