This gorgeous restaurant is located in the TIFF Bell Lightbox building at the corner of King and John. It is a sit down restaurant as well as a canteen (grab and go). The atmosphere ranges from calm to busy depending on which dining option you choose. Our dinner experiences were pleasant and filling.

The first time I visited back in 2011, I ordered the lamb gnocchi. It came in a piping hot baking dish, smothered in a deliciously rich sauce. The lamb was potent and savoury, which was amazing. The gnocchi was soft and creamy, soaking up all the saucy goodness in the dish.

Sally ordered the beef brisket on a croissant with Thai coconut soup and we split a vanilla ice cream with biscotti and espresso. The dessert was beautifully presented and it was a decadent combination of flavours.

Service was decent and friendly. Seating was comfortable and cozy, Overall, excellent restaurant with beautiful comfort food.
