Peter & Pat’s Pierogies at Costco

Everybody loves carbs, especially when they’re 2-bite pockets of cheese and potatoes. Yes, I’m talking about pierogies. Peter & Pat’s Pierogies sent over a 4-pounder bag of their bacon and cheddar goodies made with natural ingredients and pure love. Their 60-year-old family tradition just launched in Canada after touring American Costco‘s for about 20 years, hooray!

Different cooking methods are provided on the back of the package: boiled, pan fried, deep fried, steamed, or microwaved. Since I can be an unhealthy pig from time to time, I chose to pan fry these bad boys to give them a nice golden brown crust and a crunchy texture. Cooked them for 4 minutes (each side) on medium and they were ready! We also went the extra step to dress it with more bacon, sauteed veggies, and shredded cheese. Oh yea, it was going to be a heavy meal.

As a casual eater of pierogies, these were quite addictive. It might’ve been the bacon-infused potatoes or the soft, airy texture, whatever it was, my body wanted more.

Have pierogies always been this easy to make? They were ready in less than 10 minutes. I’m going to start stocking up on them because they’re the perfect meal to devour when I get home from work. I always choose to reheat leftovers or whip up something super fast. My stomach’s ability to wait for food is appalling, it’s quite the diva. Keep an eye out for the red and gold packaging in the frozen section or the Road Show counter. If you’re into the all-natural, no-preservatives lifestyle, give Peter & Pat’s Pierogies a try! If you’re not into that lifestyle, try them anyways, they’re good for you!

  1. I just came back from Costco’s in Concordville, Pa. (4/1/2019). They said they no longer have them, yet out on the internet that’s the only store they advertise them to be bought at. Where else in Delaware County, Pa can they be purchased?

    • Hi Laura! I’m from southern Ontario, Canada! So I’m not sure where you’ll be able to find the perogies in Delaware County 😱 sorry I’m not much help.
