The Hamilton location is super easy to find. Once you get off the Lincoln Alexander Parkway, turn left onto Paramount Drive and you’ll see it on the left at Paramount Drive and Upper Mt. Albion Road. I’ve been to this location a few times, mainly because my parents love it and it’s a trustworthy franchise. I’ve steered away from chain restaurants recently, but Milestones is an exception. The exterior is sophisticated and modern with a large patio area, complete with a bar and fireplace. Inside, you’ll find elegant black and white décor, a beautiful bar/lounge area, and a glass wall on the far side of the restaurant to watch all the action in the kitchen. In the main dining area, there are a mixture of booths and tables throughout. The atmosphere is casual yet classy and the mood varies. Sometimes it could be quiet, calm, and relaxing, other times when it’s busy, it’ll get lively.
Charred is located on James Street North and is one of the many known local spots in Hamilton. I knew the space was small but I was hoping we wouldn’t have to wait too long. Luckily, there was one table available for us! The space only seats 20 people and the kitchen counter takes up about half of the interior space.
