Located on the quaint street of Locke Street, NaRoma Pizzabar fits-in well with the neighbourhood. Locke Street is known for local artisan shops and awesome crafted cuisines. NaRoma has a pretty spacious patio and a small dining area inside. To accommodate everyone’s needs, they also have a take-out counter for walk-in customers.
A fairly easy restaurant to find, it sits on Lakeshore Road in Burlington facing Lake Ontario. They also have a patio section out front for those breezy summer days. Our party of 6 decided to sit inside. We definitely made the right choice because the rain came down hard halfway through our meal. The décor inside is classic with dark wood paneling, chandeliers and a luxurious bar. The menu reflects the décor with classic North American comfort food. I’m severly late on this review because I came here back in 2012!
My most recent trip to Chicago Pizza was super filling, as always. They recently renovated the space and it looks beautiful. It’s much more spacious, brightly lit and modern with murals of Italian landscapes. Their specialty is Chicago deep dish pizza, hence the name. Although the name says Chicago, the menu and the interior are definitely more Italian than American. I came here with my parents and we had no trouble finding a table. Other times I’ve been here the dining room and the waiting area were packed. Come early or make a reservation! The menu consists of your typical pasta dishes, entrees and pizza options.
